Abu Muntasir Lectures

Abu Muntasir's lecture on The World Of The Angels.

Martin Lings

From Martin Lings' A Return To The Spirit: Questions And Answers regarding "do religions contradict one another?":

Both [words of Christ and Muhammad(PBUH)] are expressions of the truth that there is no way to God except through His Word. There is therefore no question here of contradiction between two religions.
Martin Lings (Abu Bakr Siraj Ad-Din) January 24, 1909-May 12, 2005

"Critics interrupt speaker's talk on Islam":

...Muslims have lived alongside people of other religions for centuries and that much of the religious-based tension in the world today is created for political purposes. Violence in the name of Islam is "a real corruption of the understanding of the religion," Mourad said, adding that every society has a segment of miscreants.
"Diversity of interpretation in Islam":
Islam is like a clear stream, with well defined characteristics, which is the same everywhere. But the soil over which the stream flows can be very varied. Moreover, in each case, the water will take on the color of the shores, the sand or the earth which forms its bed.
"Dark matter and gravitational lensing":
Scientists have confirmed the existence of Dark Matter. This mysterious Dark Matter provides the bulk of gravity that holds galaxies (not the regular matter that forms stars and planets). This Dark Matter has weird collision properties (collisionless). Simply put: we cannot see Dark Matter nor collide with it but we can detect its gravity. According to the Qur'an, we cannot see nor collide with Jinn but they have weight: [Quran 55.31] We [Allah] will settle your affair, both you of weight (man and jinn)

Vital Signs

From Rameez Asif's "A Tribute To The Vital Signs- The Pioneers of...":

Samjhana by Vital Signs was released in the debut album Vital Signs 1 in 1989. The track was an instant hit but sadly it is a copy of Red Red Wine. It is a perfect copy not only in terms of the composition but the vocal progression is also the same.
